Texas Community Media Summit Promotion

As of today, 60 people have registered for the Texas Community Media Summit. Most registrants, not surprisingly, are from Austin, yet there are people from Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio on the list. We also know of people who have definitely said they are coming who haven't registered. So at this point, we're still anticipating there could be between 100 and 200 people.

This promo above is now appearing on channelaustin (Public Access Community Television) and has been sent to Dallas and Houston to be aired on Dallas iMedia Network and Houston Media Source. An audio version only has been sent as mp3 files to community radio stations around the state. (If you have use for a video or audio file promo, hit the contact button and let us know).

We have firm commitments from keynote speakers and session facilitators. The agenda will be updated soon with that information. Watch for a forum to be created in order for pre-summit discussion on the topics for the summit sessions. And we'll set up web site registration so people can log in and join the forums.
